Cyclist next to Mono Lake, one of the oldest lakes in North America. The 16th Annual High Sierra Fall Century is September 11, 2010! The 100 mile course takes you along the spectacular east side of the High Sierra and into the quiet beauty of the Mono Basin with awesome views of Mono Lake and the White Mountains. Our route offers 100 miles of beautiful riding with no stoplights and just one stop sign! If 100 miles is more than you want to take on, short course options of 30 and 45 miles will also be offered. Click on the "courses" link for detailed route descriptions, maps and elevation chart.

The High Sierra Fall Century is a great target for doing your first century ride, or perhaps your best century ride in the incredible atmosphere of autumn in the Eastern High Sierra of California. On course we have 5 feed stations and a catered lunch stop, along with 3 tech support vehicles to keep your bike running sweet. The ride includes a BBQ lunch back at Whitmore Ball Field with entertainment on hand. The event jersey and vest this year features a design based on the mountains behind Convict Lake, created in a Japanese water color style.

All proceeds from the High Sierra Fall Century will benefit the Sierra Cycling Foundation, East Side Velo cycling club and our local partners, including: Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra, Mono Lake Committee, Mono County Sheriffs Search and Rescue Posse, Friends of the Inyo, Eastern Sierra Nordic Ski Association, St Gall Pre-School, Mammoth Ski and Snowboard Education Foundation, Rotary International, Lions Club, Southern Sierra Amateur Radio Society and Eastern Sierra Cycling Service. The event makes a donation to all of these groups who staff our feed stations and help us in numerous and valuable ways.

Our sponsors include Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, Footloose Sports, Clif Bar, Town of Mammoth Lakes and Cytomax and we are very grateful for their commitment to the event and the support they give us.
Thank you.
